Objective: The main purpose of this unit is to explain what corrosion failure preemption is and how such capability can be enhanced within any organisation. Corrosion failure preemption should also be recognised as one of the main prerequisites of corrosion cost optimisation which is covered in Module 06 – Unit 02.
